Welcome to the Restoration Trust

The Restoration Trust is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization governed by a volunteer board of directors, to promote native habitat restoration, stewardship and education in central California.
The Restoration Trust believes that restoring and preserving native habitats within our communities builds stronger neighborhoods while protecting important resources for our children and future generations.
The Trust also believes that land stewardship can be one of the most effective ways to preserve large areas of land.
Laslty, we believe that education provides the framework for a lasting, positive relationship between the student and his or her environment.
I know of no movement as convincing, as effective, as compassionate as the land trust movement. It is like water, seeping into the most unexpected places; rising, falling, rising, falling, filling the basins of the human heart.
